Like hell I'm putting one of these in the back of an SUV

How much room is in the back seats? I have a baby that's still in a rear-facing car seat. Would one of those fit comfortably in the back or would I have to move up the passenger seat a stupid amount?

I'm guessing you haven't driven too many carb'ed cars? Especially in the cold.

"they shouldn't rest on their laurels"

Agreed on this bridge. I was crossing this thing on a motorcycle on a windy misty day and a GODDAMN DEAD TRUCK IN THE ONLY PAVED LANE ON THE RIGHT! with a couple other trucks lined up behind it. I was doing 10 on the slippery wet metal grate left lane with the bike and my feet down on each side in the vain hope that

If my wife would let me, I would totally drive a minivan. They're detestable enough vehicles that I won't care if Junior spills grape juice all over the back (try that with a CTS-V wagon), and you can shtow-und-go the back seats to haul several sheets of plywood or a greasy-ass engine block. I don't know if this will work after the whole unfortunate business of the last month or so, but I fixed that Honda ad

+1 for this. Found one in the States for a similar price. It's on autotrader, but Ebay is blocked at my work (not autotrader, go figure . . .)

Isn't RPM part of the calculation of HP? So low RPM = low HP? Google gives me HP=(RPM*Tq)\5252. That gives me about 56 HP at 1100 RPM (assuming 270 ft/lbs), which is in line with the graph.

Pffft. GM built a hovering Buick back in the 70s

Man, I miss Achewood . . .

Who has a dashcam that runs for hours after the car's been shut off?
