Cohen already was investigated and found guilty of the meat of his shady shit, and you know full well that book is going to tip toe around open question items.

He is the very liberal third party from a policy perspective.
Even if he had been charged with something, it happened when he was 14 so it’s all gone now anyways. I don’t think anyone is disputing that he did it, so this is really a debate about his character and what proof we have that it has improved meaningfully from that time.
Maybe he’s grown past that sort of antics, but the thing is, the dude is not applying to flip burgers at McDonald’s or even to get an entry level job fresh out of college at some random business where he will be in charge of precisely nobody for the next several years.
Yeah my wife totally loves The Office but doesn’t even like the fact that I enjoy Sunny.
It’s worse I think. At least in the sandbox you’re dealing with a situation that requires sharing. If I have a toy that you want in the sandbox, then letting me have it means you don’t get something you want.
Yeah not that we’ll see it here but last night was a pretty good preview of at least two of the possible 2024 primary candidates.
Uh, because he’s no longer in prison and probably doesn’t want to go back?
I mean, I’d love it if it just stopped at “mildly entertaining diversions” but it sure seems like the last several years provide heaping portions of proof that letting conspiracy theories linger in public consciousness just promotes doing it more and more.
You’re the bitterest commenter on this site and you’re telling me to chill out?
Yes and no. The options would be “Do you want to go to The Blue Plate Special Diner or our favorite open to the public retirement community clubhouse restaurant?”
For me it was the birthday restaurant. I worked in a small office with a lot of much older people and while I would get treated to lunch on my birthday the options given were all the old people haunts in our small-ish town.
Not everything is for everyone of course. To me, not liking something and not inviting clapback about not liking it is all about how you don’t like it.
This makes me hope that Aunt Becky gets in deep with a bunch of Chinese dominos playing Triad grammas.
Well hot diggity dog.
“Joan is funny”
Cohen’s not going to admit complicity in a blackmail scheme.
Your first point isn’t a reasonable takeaway from my point at all. I probably want the same climate legislation you do (some approximation of the GND, a move to get rid of fossil fuels and to build sustainably, and so on). What will happen to those people is a tragedy, quite possible the worst in all of human history…
Yeah, the thing about the Office is that even if it doesn’t tick all the boxes required of 2019 shows to be deemed sanctified by the sanctimonious, it still resonates with a lot of people.
My therapist wants me to try out “letting people have their things,” so I will keep my thoughts about The Office—or Garner’s prominent Dunder Mifflin wall art—to myself.
