I’d also like to add that small delays like this are GOOD (much better than releasing something half-baked and/or putting your staff through the meat grinder to make launch), and that there are a million other things to do / watch / play while you wait.

I’m being really charitable here, but I wonder if they’re more realistic in person. I haven’t ever seen one of these in person before... or have I? But maybe there’s something about real-world lighting, plus not expecting people in masks, that makes them more believable.

I think when I showed my girlfriend The Office (fuck if I know how she avoided it for so long), I started at “Basketball” in season 1. Honestly, I’ve known great shows that found their groove much later than the fifth episode, The Simpsons being one of them.

Do Office fans who rewatch the series skip the last few seasons the way Simpsons fans only watch 1 to 11 (and some of the more hardcore ones only watch 3-9)?

If you’re talking specifically about NYC, there are tons of cheap, authentic Chinese places. The two most accessible chains that come to mind are Xian Famous Foods and Vanessa’s, but there’s authentic Chinese all over lower Manhattan, Queens, and Sunset Park.

HFPA only cares about the big stars they can lure to the Globes, hence not nominating When They See Us (cast is too black for them) or Jeremy Strong (ears too big).
