If it were a studio movie, they’d cast Miley Cyrus, Rooney Mara, Zendaya, and Chris Hemsworth.

Speaking of books about time travel: I just finished To Say Nothing Of The Dog and loved it so much I bought a hard copy. I had no idea that it would be so funny AND have such a tight sci-fi story.
Wow, I had no idea it was released already -- I thought it was still being written!
> The school board... concluded... that the shortages were due “either to the incompetence or negligence” of the school district’s food and nutrition staff.
Oh man, that Adam Sandler movie was directed by the brothers behind Good Time, which was awesome. I’m super looking forward to this new one.
I nominate Cate Archer -- I think the rights to her character are in inter-company limbo, but if someone can untangle them, maybe we’ll get more NOLF. I realize I might be the only person hoping for this.
Well, I totally disagree with both of these takes. I think it’s an evolution of their style, it’s unmistakenly them, and showcases Adam Jones and especially Danny Carey in a great way. But the first Tool album I got into was Lateralus, and it’s still my favorite, and the new album feels like a direct descendant of…
Doesn’t the CEO of Racism ultimately have to answer to the Board of Directors of Racism?
Sounds like someone needs a Galaxy 10 Chalupa.
I remember listening to that episode on the subway and giggling like an idiot, hoping people wouldn’t think I was nuts. Probably worth a re-listen knowing that Patton and Little Gary are on it.

Man, what the hell happened to Mike Myers.
I’m excited for the album, but there’s a chance we’ve heard a big chunk of it: Descending (~12 mins), Invincible (~13 mins) and CCTrip (~7 mins) have all been played on the recent tour. Unless it’s a double album, which seems unlikely, there’s only like 2-3 songs left, and maybe fewer if there are interstitials.
How is complaining about woke takes not just a different form of pearl-clutching? If you don’t agree with someone’s point of view, you’re entitled to your opinion, but at least have some self-awareness too.
Getting On is great, and Niecy was awesome in it.
“Made in China” has nothing to do with it. Great products and shitty products alike are made in China, because that’s where the supply chain is: the whole range of tiny screws, machines to operate those screws, trained industrial engineers to operate and oversee those machines. If we moved manufacturing to the US,…
Nice, that’s a strong enough endorsement for me! Romy and Michele is great AND it was directed by Dave Mirkin of The Simpsons, highly recommended.
The thesis of the video seems to be (correct me if I’m wrong) that the genre “girly movie” (ugh) is under explored, but if it weren’t, then Josie and the Pussycats would be near the top. I’d consider this to be the canon for that genre:
