I disagree with everyone's assessment of vampire ninjas.

CHARLIE'S ANGELS 3: MY HORSE FACE KILLED THE OTHER TWO

Elijah Baley: Explain to me how determining "the first era a medium hit its stride" is not a quality judgment? With the exception of Johnny Carson (and other late night shows) and possibly the Bob Newhart shows, American TV was garbage until The Simpsons.

The thing is, given the legacy of the show, I'd be fully satisfied to pay $10 to see nothing but retreads of the old jokes.

1. Blake Lively pleasantly surprised me. She did well at committing to bits (at least, far better than January Jones did). Maybe you were reacting to her being so underwritten.

The first two seasons are worthwhile because the show was run by none other than LARRY CHARLES, so the season-wide plot arcs were actually interesting and dramatic.

There is an unfortunate dearth of comedy on these lists.

This is a goddamn good list, though I would juggle the order completely.

While I agree that Grim Fandango and Deus Ex should be on this list, I think it's a damn good start.

Guy Fieri should die.
That is all.

I hear you about Deftones. As a minor quibble, I like their self-titled or Around the Fur better than White Pony, but I also like WP a whole lot.

Nevermind, I see your comment about Tool below and I respect your opinion, even though you're wrong.

This list is so bad-ass I'm willing to overlook Lateralus not appearing.

I second Al Cracka.

lol wut

I actually like Ryan Reynolds. He was pretty good in Adventureland and Blade III. Yeah, I said it.

This thread ended with "Titty Milk Icing." You win, Chocolate Eating Jacket.

He opened that ass, got inside, crumpled up some newspapers, crumpled up snickers wrappers, wrote his name, stomped around, stepped out, and left it open so he knew who was in that ass.

I get the sense that he was trying to do an anti-comic-DVD, so he showed more ad-libbing and audience interaction than material. I watched it a second time and was less bothered by it.

Mitch Hedberg was a great comedian, but he certainly wasn't better than Patton, Louis CK, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Dave Attell, or any other great comedian.
