@Instantpontaneous: I own a pair, they definitely don't get old after a day. You just need to push the limits of your abilities.

@SewerShark: A tall building.
@ProsumeThis: Your ankle's pretty safe. Your knee, though...
@shawnbassplayer: They slip a good bit in the rain. They say loose dirt is a bad idea, and I'm inclined to agree if you're running or if you step onto a hard surface after being on the dirt.
@828: I got kicked out of the gym for doing that with mine...
@BadJoJo: There are different weight classes, at least with the Poweriser brand. Note that Powerizer is a poor quality ripoff of Poweriser.
@paradox: They run $250-$300.
I got a pair about 3 weeks ago. They're great, especially around campus tour groups.
I caught it back in 03 or 04, those were great. WAY too much light pollution to right here for this year's show, though. Pity.
@technomom1: Politics killed it. Just like they killed Constellation.
@jblues: Earn that star!
@Ceric Neesh: Nope.

@EightHeadedBoy: I guess he couldn't get time off for his cruise.
@Jamie Adams: How much?
@Mike Zuniga is a Photographer Apparently: I've been around. I decided to lie low for a while, the time wasn't right. I was the commenter Gizmodo deserved, but not the one it needed.
Not MJ.
@leonardlow: Oh I'm not saying it's worth it, I'm just saying war has done some good things for us. I do wish we'd have another Cold War for the space race, though.
@AchaBacha: I somewhat agree with you. I think we're overpopulated. I don't think we should go to war just to thin the herd. However, I do like the indirect effects of war, the new technologies. War is the greatest driver of human progress known.
@aek8: Those ruins truly are impressive. Roman life seemed about as advanced as modern life if you strip the electricity and machines.
