I’ve never had a problem in the snow with a 2WD pickup, and I’ve lived in CT and Northeast PA... then again, I don’t actually own a pickup nor have I ever. 

I’ve used both and would say they’re both comparable to each other. Get whatever you can get cheaper and don’t look back. Check on the speed rating you buy though, I’m surprised on how low of a speed rating they can make them. I’m in California but have had both sets in Tahoe snow before.

I’ve never had an issue in snow with a 2WD truck. But I also live in Southern Arizona and see snow for about 10 minutes every 4 years.
