Exactly. I vastly prefer the placement of the tablet-like infotainment system in my best friend’s 2016 RX 450h (but the rest of the system sucks) to that of my own 2015 Grand Cherokee. The RX’s floating-tablet look puts everything right in your sightline.

No, and this same comment exists on every article featuring a car with a screen like this.

If you believe Tada (and I’m trying not to play Armchair Engineer here myself) it’s a packaging thing. The 86 made the back seat work because of the Boxer engine, while the Supra’s long I6 would’ve made that harder—especially with the edict that the car compete against the Cayman, and I get the sense that edict came

Yeah, don’t call it a comeback.... they’ve been here for years.

I'm biased, but my one counterpoint to your argument about German beers is freshness. A quality local lager is going to be much fresher than an import. Keller Pils won the gold medal at GABF, so it's no slouch.

I test drove a Civic Si recently and the very young salesman had me pull it out of the very tight corner it was in and then asked me to back it into a spot on the lot when we got back. Unusual because they usually just have you park it somewhere up front and they park it back later. It didn’t dawn on me until later

“this rental pick up was beat! They must all suck!"

3 automatic transmissions in 8 years, all dealer installed... no thanks, hard pass. Manual transmission with the 5.2 would be the only one I’d ever consider again.

Wasn’t a major problem on these transmission failure?
