Another it the replacement cost of the hitch.  It baffles me to see people leave something attached that can be removed in less than 5 seconds and carted away.  This is especially bad for those of us with class 5 hitches that cost between two and three hundred or more, yet I see them all the time when I’m out.  

When I think of a Blazer my ‘72 K/5 I had in high school comes to mind, whic is a badass truck. The 90's gen you posted are most certainly ‘meh.’

Well said. I wish the writers would give these topics more thought before ranting. It’s a modern S-10 Blazer, and perfectly acceptable as such. The S-10 is what most people think of when they hear the name Blazer. Or the Trailblazer. There’s WAY more of those on the road still compared to K5 Blazers.

I’m pretty sure in most places in Canada that if you are not towing you must remove your hitch from the receiver. Most don’t but they should.

Not a problem, the hitch is only supposed to be installed when there is a trailer attached.
