Realistically, in the US you most likely WILL get your money back from your credit card company in a situation like this. You paid the money and did not get the goods - that is a pretty standard reason to win a credit card dispute.

To be fair, the person buying these probably doesn’t care what the number means just as long as they can be assured that the bigger number is better.

Why though? The bus doesn’t need a low centre of gravity - it’s not trying to set a Nurburgring time. The top is an unobstructed place that doesn’t take away any interior space. They’re usually still shorter than typical delivery trucks, the bus driver just really messed up in this case.
