Don’t worry. I’ve been a part of those discussions in the past.

Just busy planning a wedding right now so Jalopnik is just a small 5 minute escape I am using to keep my sanity at times.

Are you willing to volunteer for this culling?

I don’t know if you could call the engine in a stock 1998 Legacy Outback highly anything. Surely isn’t boosted or under a lot of pressure relatively speaking.

Are you suggesting someone snuck a turbo onto my wife’s 2004 Forester? Damn!

It’s almost like Subaru hasn’t figured out how to build a highly boosted, high compression engine after 20+ years of development. Huh...

You just described what the Civic Type-R used to be, and has now become.

I don’t think it’s a bad thing that the GT-R is as anonymous as it is. For one, aside from fanboys, it’s not going to draw unwanted attention, such as from law enforcement. Same goes for the SS.

Well they then should stay out of Hawaii, Japan, and other Asian countries.

Man alive these words. So much these words.

Folks,

I should have been more clear, sorry! I just think that, transport wise, there are so many other things especially overall road safety and ensuring that commercial vehicles are up-kept which are a higher priority

This is spot on. For the WRX community, you can add pining for the GC8 at each new release as well.

Crap, I just made “that post” elsewhere.

Will the new car be worthy of wearing the STI badge or will it be a high-tech imposter?

At least we have proper spelling and grammar

Yeah, I wonder how many Model 3 reservation holders realize this...

That’s gonna hit the poors the hardest, tho.

Yup, just checked...that thing’s got 6 inches less total front and rear legroom than my last car, and that thing was pushing it for a kid long enough to stick their legs out of a rear-facing seat, with a 6 foot driver. Not doable, even if the seat can go in; the kid’s gonna be riding in the fetal position.
