They’re really going all Range Rover with their naming as they seem to want to sunset the Cherokee name.

The Equinox is on the BEV3 platform. It’s not a modified ICE Equinox.

The motor does take up some space, so unless you’re doing AWD, might as well put the motor under the large hood unless there’s some actual desire for performance.
