I wish people would stop giving money to charities and instead stop bitching about paying taxes. That money should go to your government who should be coordinating these relief efforts.

Whenever anyone mentions the Salvation Army to me, I enjoy giving them a run-down of secular charities that would make much better use of their money.

The accountability and transparency issues are important, but my big hangup is I won’t support any relief organization that still practices crucifixion.
