Also, I feel bad saying it, but I don't really like Jon Batiste. He just seems really bad at the banter, like how Conan would always jokingly just stare at Max, but for real. And also an uncomfortable bit of "agreeable subservient black man".

I remember when his show was in development, he talked about putting some sort of spin or twist on the traditional format. And that hasn't really been the case at all. It's the same old monologue-desk-interview-interview-music format, just with a host I like a little more. That doesn't quite make it required…
Angel Season 5
I've never got around to *any* of the Uncharteds, which I should really rectify someday.
Think that raved-about recent Tomb Raider game hits PS4 pretty soon.
Yeah, Fred and Wesley just got together (ish), and knowing they're famously doomed, I hope I don't have to wait too long to be devastated. :(
Yeah okay, I think the Missing Link section is the only part where it "resets" you, since it was originally a separate game. But at the end it just gives you all your stuff back.

Been watching the final season of Angel for the first time, through 14 episodes. It's good, but a little disappointing so far given some people praising it as one of their favorite TV seasons ever. All the individual parts are good, and the episodes are enjoyable, but there's been no real serialization, which…
unless they plan on drastically reducing their overall content
This actually makes me more interested in Homeland again after its lackluster 5th season.
Pictured: somehow not Garret Dillahunt.
Yeah, I think the B&C edition also involves some contrast adjustments to make it more "vibrant", from what I read elsewhere.
Yeah, this confuses me too. The colors in the movie are so damn gorgeous and a big part of its visual appeal. I can see checking out the B&W version as a curiosity, but George Miller calling it his preferred version just seems crazy.
Never actually owned an Android, but definitely waiting to see what Google's new Nexus offerings are before getting a new phone.
The 4 aged reeeaaally poorly compared to the 5 and 6. Both of those were still perfectly useable after 2 years; the 4, barely.
