I’d guess that a majority of them have no issues at all, but it seems like the 2011-2014 cars had the least number of issues due to material changes in the 2015 units and again a few years later leading to more parts breaking as some things like the shift forks were redesigned to be cheaper.

Alot of the Youtube videos would say its not the feeling so much of the issue (though it is ALOT of people’s issues) but rather parts breaking and taking months upon months to get fixed because Ford is backordered on parts because the number of units needing fixed.

From what I’ve read on the issues, you’d be incorrect.

The transmissions are designed by Getrag and assembled by the Chinese company but the quality of the parts used inside are specified by Ford themselves and they chose to go downgrade from of the materials (the shift forks seem to be a major culprit).

To be fair, they are Getrag designed units.... the issues I have read about seem to be related to substandard materials used in the assembly, not the quality of the assembly.
