They made the Performance wheels black (dark gray), why?! Hopefully the silver option comes back, I’m not a fan of the blacked out look.

Doesn’t bart go to Antioch now? I’m guessing that would take longer, but you wouldn’t be driving! Don’t think you’d have to change trains, either.

What the hell is that thing?

Right now it’s looking like Dieselgate may have actually given VAG an edge by getting their asses in gear and kickstarting all their EV development.

Those darker red areas are the reflector bits (one thin strip up top, the bottom one is more “squared”), which are on the outermost plastic layer of the tail light. The dark strip you see in this image is on the layer below. The second image on this page somebody else linked to show it more clearly: https://www.carpart

To expand on this:

I also think it’s a Camry, but the gen right before (or after?) this one, with those hideous tail lights. Posted a separate comment below:

This gen Camry. Probably with an Uber decal on the rear window. Good luck with that!

Allegedly the A6 is. However, Canada is getting the Allroad, so I’d be surprised if the US didn’t get that as well. So it seems like pretty much everything is on the table.

This will just be the halo model for a full Avant range in the US. Guy can dream, right?

You’re thinking of the 4 series Gran Coupe, which is still alive and well. The 3 Series GT somehow was an attempt at replacing the Touring and solidified the Touring’s demise in the US. Had it actually been good-looking, I would have been all over it.

You are correct.

Lots of them in Detroit.

I went to configure one of these the other day and I noticed they seem to have discontinued most powertrain combos? I don’t think you can get the T5 with AWD anymore. The T6 is gone from the configurator entirely. The only two options are T5 FWD (available in Momentum, R-Design, and Inscription) and T8 AWD (only

Cars emit a decent amount (enough to affect health at least) of particulate pollution from their tires, brakes, clutches, etc (as they wear, they have to go somewhere). Since EVs are currently generally heavier than an equivalent gas vehicle, they’re actually worse in this regard. So EVs aren’t actually a perfect

Alfa Romeo would have taken issue, I’m guessing:

Looks like Model 3 Long Range AWD dropped ~$2,000 and Model 3 Performance dropped ~$5,000. That would be bigger news to me. If you’re actually shopping for a new vehicle (not just randomly commenting online), you can’t ignore the Model 3 at this point, and neither should BMW. The 3 series is now pushing like a $20k
