Except that’s not what it looks like anymore.

I got a tin parachute once when I was a victim of a widespread corporate downsizing.

Keep on cherry picking and manipulating your “data”.

Buick has had very, very small fleet sales for quite a few years.

“ ... If Buick still exists in a few years, in other words, that’d be a (somewhat) surprising outcome.... “

“ ... We proclaimed the Chevy Volt, Chevy’s advanced-but-weirdly-kinda-pricey-and-never-quite-as-good-as-the-Prius hybrid ... “

You must be the fake person, amirite?

How, in your delusional mind, did you call them out on a lie?

Well, that’s a VERY shitty thing to do, don’t you think?

Lower perceived quality brand?

“ ... Besides, it’s a button you press literally every time you drive the car...”

There are no more mechanical linkages between the gear selector and the transmission - it’s all electronic.

The whole point is to free up space on AND underneath the console and people constantly bitch about column shifters in GM’s pickups and SUV’s so that would also make people bitch.

“ ... the position of +/- as buttons on the side or top of some of the other GM shifters was/is pretty awful as well. ... “

You should ask all the people who constantly piss, moan, bitch and complain about GM using column shifters in their trucks and SUV’s.

I had a 2000 for @ five years. Bought for my kids and all three drove it at one time or another in high school. It went to Michigan State for three years (freshman can’t have cars) and was able to get out of parking spots that were plowed in when EVERY other car in the lot was stuck and had to be dug out.

Nah, the Tracker shoul have been in first place - it had a transfer case if you got the 4WD, a pretty good 2.0L DOHC I4 and there was a V6 available too.

Wow, so many of your ‘expert’ comments are totally clueless -YES, people do care about the brand of car you drive. Not all, but clearly if there is the chance of offending a client, then don’t do it, period. If you were in sales you would understand.

So, you’re saying I’m completely correct - at least that what ‘oncorrect’ sounds like.

You clearly know NOTHING about the demographics of senior citizens - their average income is SUBSTANTIALLY higher than twenty somethings.
