Expensive, cramped, not fast, not light feeling, bad riding and historically poorly put together. Seems like a winning combo. My question: who’s still buying these? and why? its been a long time since marky mark stole that gold.

Fewer people will pay for the higher class, or use miles/cash to request an upgrade, if they know there’s a chance they could get it for free. That appears to be the airlines’ rationale.

I’m pretty sure the biggest track day mistake is thinking you can do all those things and finding you can’t. In a crashy sort of way. Alligator mouth, hummingbird ass, etc.

I’m betting the real value of the metal and stones is a small fraction of £50M. Also, who needs that much jewelry on-hand in one place? I smell insurance fraud.

Meh I dunno, the dated styling, middling performance, and questionable reliability? I say this as an owner of multiple VAG products. For a couple grand less, I’d be all over it, and already planning a few mods for power.
