I see no mention of the AEGIS Combat System that has been developed and deployed on over a hundred US and allied vessels, each carrying an average of 100 missiles, to counter the threat of supersonic or even ballistic anit-ship missiles. Or the dozens of aircraft carried by the carriers that are capable of lobbing…
