He’s right. The Pacers are dumb. They weren’t even smart enough to have the best player of his generation be born near their city.

“This story about a janitor exploding needs more drama!”

Can’t blame the guy buffing the floor above someone who left flammable material out. Also, horrible local “claims contradicted” news people are horrible.

So his story went up in flames?

I thought that should be one of the sights to tour, but I got vetoed. I need to find better friends.

Bless King David for inventing the slingshot bikini for his main squeeze Bathsheba

Congratulations, Mr. —Wacko— on —COTD—! I would like to gift you with a Corvette which this lovely lady will deliver when she sees the light at the end of the tunnel.

I stayed in Kensington for 10 days this year, and good lord are you dead right

...was absolutely blown away by the cars people will park on the street there.

Umm unless someone is stupid enough to exit the vehicle... I think damage could be done but the odds of death are still pretty slim..

I can’t think of anywhere in San Francisco where I’d ever park any of those cars on the street. 1) They’d be vandalized by the time you slide your key into your pocket, 2) people would think you’re a douche. There are a couple dozen supercars in the garage at my building, and I have no idea what they do once they

My cousins who live out there tell me they call it “supercar summer” where its full of cars parked all day. Everytime I get the chance to go, I usually go car spotting while everyone does the touristy stuff.

I stayed in a Hotel in the Kingsington are.. the Lambo dealer was directly across the street. To say the mechanics loved revving the engines is an understatement. $250k-1.5 mill+ cars literally parked on both sides of narrow streets that one vehicle can barely pass down.

Haha, I remember that DS9 episode. Great reference.

Amazing. If they were in NYC I would definitely want to own the Bumper Bully© franchise.

God damn EVE is so interesting. I just wish the actual gameplay was more fun than filling out a Starfleet requisition form for self-sealing stem bolts.

I figured that out pretty quickly as we traveled around. Even so, I’ve been all over the US, and have never seen cars street-parked like this. There were several embassies of oil-rich countries around us, and I’m assuming that had a lot to do with it.

I was in Kensington 2 weeks ago and noticed the same thing. I couldn’t believe how many $250+k cars were casually parked on the street - let alone driving around.

Kensington and the city of London are almost exclusively full of upper class people though. It isn’t really representative of the UK, The South East of England or even Greater London.

I stayed in Kensington for a few days last year, and was absolutely blown away by the cars people will park on the street there. Nobody is going to park a $500k+ car curbside in downtown Phoenix, but in London they’re pretty common. Especially near the embassies. You fared better than I did, but I was with the wife
