Depends on the car, On my jeep it doesn't matter one bit because my brake lights are red and my turn signals are orange just as they're supposed to be. But on some of the newer government motors cars, and the rice burners the turn signal and the brakes are one and the same so it does make the brakes harder to see.

To the best of my knowledge the only things they changed around for the RHD jeeps was the drivetrain and lever positioning. Gas tank remained in the same place from 93-04 for all jeep grand cherokees.

Both of them share the gas tank hanging behind the rear axle. So while they might not share anything else in common then the name, axles, one engine/transmission combo and gas tank placement. The gas tank placement is the important detail.

The problem isn't in going too fast, the problem is trying to turn at 80 mph. After 50 or maybe 60 doing a turn in less then 3 lanes becomes a tricky affair.
