Ask yourself a question. Did the speedrunner changing their name from TomatoAnus to TomatoAngus for this single event inconvenience you in the slightest? Did it inconvenience you more than, say, a parent watching the streams for fun with their younger children?

I don’t mean that I’m stuck or that I’ve run out of things to explore, just that it doesn’t feel that satisfying? I can’t quite place it. Since the game constantly resets it doesn’t feel like I’m accomplishing anything and I have no perspective on what I should be doing or how well I’m doing. I’m sure as I get closer…

I started Death Stranding so I’ll probably play more of that. I’ll also work more on Outer Wilds. I feel like I’ve found a lot but I don’t feel like I’ve actually made any progress. I dunno. There are things about it that I like but so far it hasn’t really clicked for me.

I feel so uneasy about this “part 1" that I feel this leak might had confirmed my fears.

What about people that are playing switch with friends while doing drugs?

Not possible for a Switch owner to have done a post like this. Outer Wilds doesn’t run on Switch. Anyone who is not playing Outer Wilds at a given moment is by definition missing out. 

I love that someone was apparently so triggered by this little slice of life story that they created a burner to insult it.

What is with the “best esports” trophies? Don’t they already get recognized as “best” when they win at esports? We already know who the best are, this seems beyond unnecessary.

I’d be curious to see the overlap between people who play games like Outer Wilds, Disco Elysium, Sekiro or Death Stranding and those who follow esports. Serious question.

While I wish the one I wanted to win had won, I’m at least glad the one I didn’t want to have won didn’t win.

Referring to personal interpretations of events as a “FACT” truly is the 2010's in a nutshell. Doubly so when it’s in snarky, passionate debate about trivia orbiting a family-friendly pop culture franchise about magic bullshit.

Just imagine feeling such a deep need to defend a movie against people saying it wasn’t that good. I could live a million years and never understand the headspace of someone who thinks a critic criticizing a movie is somehow personally attacking them, a person who had absolutely nothing to do with said movie.
