Man, people really want to shit on this game. I, for one, am a 34 year old man who can’t wait to play this and go on a new adventure with new pokemon to catch and doesn’t give a single shit whether I can use the same team I’ve been using since 1998.

Very true. Honestly, to me that’s one of the reasons I’m waiting to sign up for Disney+. Outside of the Mandalorian, there’s no NEW content on there right now that I’m interested in, and I don’t have enough desire to re-watch older Disney or Marvel movies to make it worth it.

Yeah, I didn’t mean to sound judgemental or anything, I just find the whole situation funny. Especially that these people know these episodes so well that they understand the jokes even when they’re cropped out of the screen, so who are they complaining for? People who will be watching The Simpsons for the first time…

Yeah, allowing you to re-roll defeats most of the purpose. At that point, it’s no different than me just scrolling through my game library not being able to decide what to play, since I can just hit this button 30 times until I’ve seen everything and still haven’t decided.

Seeing all those alien creatures on the ship brought back some long-dormant memories for me too. I remember loving that movie as a kid, but haven’t thought about it in probably 25 years.

That’s fair, especially since “fun” is so subjective, particularly when it comes to games.

I had similar reservations about Red Dead 2 (who is the main character? why do I care about this gang and these characters? I’m not going to like it as much as the first one, etc.)

Agree 100%. This ended up joining my top 5 games of all time, and I never had any issue with the controls.

Unfortunately that won’t work. You’re underestimating how many away fans come to watch a guaranteed win and embarrass the Skins on TV by drowning out the home crowd.

We had the exact same experience with that MNF game. I wonder how many of us there are? 

Yeah, and I wouldn’t blame you for waiting a while. Honestly with a lot of modern games (Destiny comes to mind) it’s smarter to wait until a few DLC’s have come out before buying so you’re actually getting significant content for your money.
