Michael you are honestly the stupidest person online. At least Biden’s campaign has the decency to be ashamed.

I was talking about the voting habits of the progressive wing of the dem party who are asked to vote for the moderate every election. Neither is a racially delineated bloc, so wasn’t sure where black voters came from (I wouldn’t say black people aren’t uniformly progressive or uniformly moderate).

“Biden will nominate young liberal justices”. Garland was neither. Still better than Kavanaugh, of course. He also voted for Scalia. Of course Biden is more likely to vote in line with his party, and that makes him a lesser evil, which is how many people will decide to vote. But I can see how at a certain point this

Yeah again this isn’t relevant to my original point. I was talking about ideological differences within the democratic party between centrists and progressives. I don’t really give a shit that “black people are waking up” (cool, thanks?) - this is pretty nonsensical and tangential to me.

I’ll vote for the lesser evil. I’m saying eventually people will stop, because they’ll be totally alienated from the process. I don’t blame them.

I don’t think you know what my comment was about/what I was referring to. I literally said calling every republican candidate an existential threat is counterproductive. So we agree - I think? I don’t know what you’re talking about either. I wasn’t talking about open borders, or black people, or black people’s support

Thank you. There will never be another Republican candidate who isn’t seen as an existential threat to democracy and thus requires progressives to hold their tongues. We’ll keep getting Bidens and compromises and shitty candidates - American politics will continue to be a game of lesser evils. Pointing this out will

It will probably work, especially if he’s able to point to Dems who are offering half of what he is with conditions attached.

Thanks for writing this.

They didn’t misread your point, it was unclear. You claimed Bernie voters see youth voters as more valuable (no one in the thread had used this phrasing) then argued against this made up point. This person was offended by the insinuation, yours or otherwise, that some voters are more valuable than others. You accused

People on this website love to use Biden’s black support as some sort of seal of approval, as if it somehow validates Biden. I guarantee you most of these commenters are middle class white ladies who treat black ppl as some magical voting bloc.

Holy shit you are dense. I’m obviously referring to people who are most vulnerable in this country, people that I know and work with every day. You want Biden to win so you can go back to having brunch with your friends and not have to worry about politics. For many of us, these issues started long before Trump.

Which I’m not. My life, and the life of many other people I know, will not improve under a Biden presidency vs. a Trump one.

Biden already helped put a frothing conservative zealot on the Supreme Court.

Calling people “cunts” but getting mad at Bernie Bros. I thought Biden stans were supposed to be the civil ones?

And “back to normal” is the liberal version of MAGA.

Joe Biden’s victory came as no surprise to anyone, because most Americans are stupid. And LOL if you think Facebook is a bastion of civility.

I’ve has Kamala and Warren supporters on twitter tell me that I don’t deserve health care. There are horrible people in every camp.

There is literally no difference between Biden and Trump, except that one of them has a D next to his name.

So because you met one bernie supporter who said a shitty thing that means every bernie supporter is a bad person? Ok.
