Love me some Not Just Bikes.
Love me some Not Just Bikes.
Maybe, instead of speed limits, we should have momentum limits.
I’ve been following NotJustBikes for a while. Dude puts more research into each video than I have into my entire college degree. I hate that the smallest trucks these days are as big as the full-size trucks of the late 90's, especially when I’m apparently one of the few people that is honest enough with their needs…
Not Just Bikes just posted a video with a comprehensive argument as to why SUV’s are actually really bad. I recommend it, its good food for thought
Oeuf, what a mess. The cleanup crew deserves a standing ovation.
Yup. If they want people to think charging is as easy as getting gas, then make it like getting gas. All these companies are tripping over themselves to make charging the most modern!/hipster!/futuristic! thing you can do when they should be making it as dumb and easy as possible.
I was born in ‘81, so I’m going to say the ones with wheels.
I’m getting old and I know child safety and child car seat designs have changed. But my parents hauled my sister and I around in a Dodge Omni and later a Ford Tempo. Eventually, we got a minivan. The percentage of people that NEED a Ford Explorer has gotta be pretty small.
Snow wasn’t the problem. That was ice. Tire’s aren’t digging into ice. And all season tires aren’t doing anything on ice except... what the Range Rover did. When I was a kid, everyone put snow tires on in the winter. That was just what everyone did. People talk about the vehicle, whether it’s good in snow, whether it…
It’s not easy to do anything in an emergency. A dead car will stay where it is until the emergency passes.
We have space, long distances between towns, big roads, weather extremes, and big parking spaces in the vast majority of the U.S. that just don’t compute from an E.U. perspective
Full size trucks and SUVs make perfect sense in much of the country.
This makes perfect sense because EVs are only purchased by groomers to transport stolen children to underground pizza parlors where they are forced to listen to drag queen story hour twenty-two hours a day. At age 16, embedded computer chips receive 5G transmissions that activate them as covert antifa mercenary…
While I don’t disagree with the premise, the example of cameras seems kind of misleading since I’d wager the majority of people buying cameras today are photographers/hobbyists who are happy to pay for nicer ones. Cameras were pretty common for average people to own a couple decades ago, but smartphones have turned…
I think you mistakenly included FICA in your estimates for federal taxes - FICA is not something that can be credited. To be able to get the full $7500 back on a tax credit you would need to be over $67k single or $92k married (and have no other deductions) to have the taxes needed to fully use the credit.
Isn’t that exactly what leasing is supposed to be for? When I was younger, I didn’t understand it (who wants to make payments on a car, then after a few years, they come and take the car after you’ve paid into it?), but now I get that, if you want to drive the latest/ safest/ reliable car, that leasing provides a way…
Rates are up, Payments are up, and length of loan is up.
*cries in Canadian* *also gets hit by a truck with a grill taller than most of those vehicles*
Reads the top vehicles *cries in American* *gets hit by a truck with a grill taller than most of those vehicles*
The USA can barely even define what should be called a “high speed” rail because anything faster 110 is considered high speed by our standards. Our trains are basically just for cargo, and a lot of people hell bent on keeping it that way.
