Counterpoint - this looks cool as hell.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this car had a liftback. Better than a trunk, not quite as good as a hatchback.
Buyers: stop being boring and clogging America’s roads with generic crossovers, buy something interesting.
I would love to see a wagon variant, partly because wagon, but partly because of the cargo space.
It’s not that weird! It looks very Porsche or even Audi like.
Counterpoint: daring design = good
My philosophy is a variation on that comparing costs/value idea, but the concept of ‘when repairs exceed market value’ strikes me as a misunderstanding of a car’s place in our life. It treats the car as if it is an investment whose value you are constantly analyzing. Now, there are some people for whom cars are…
I’m a book-on-tape guy for long trips.
It used to be the radio. There was nothing better than driving through the ranges of all the old independent radio stations, hearing one fade out and another fizz and crackle in as you traveled. There was a lot of variety out there, and some of it was crap but there were some weird gems too.
Nah, people of all races and walks of life listen to loud music. I’m saying only the minorities will actually get ticketed for it. The white guy with the punisher skull sticker listening to Garth Brooks loudly in his pickup truck is never going to be pulled over.
Brawndo also helps you win at things you’re not supposed to win at. Like yelling. Brawndo helps you win at YELLING! And exercise!
But Brawndo’s got what plants crave. It’s got electrolytes.
As an American, I fundamentally reject this premise.
I love my car but I would bike/ride/walk to work way before I drove, if possible.
I think you hit the nail on the head with your comment! I am all about Hyundai and Kia’s current design direction and the EV6 is one of the coolest-looking electrics on the market. They seem to be going the retro-futuristic route which I really like.
front end looks fantastic, but I’m still a little torn on how to feel about that rear end... but for that drag coefficient, im open to anything... function over fashion. we need more cars with better efficiency.
More than you can afford, pal. EV.
I really like it. I think Hyundai has hit the nail on the head with most of their new designs. They are making this “futuristic” design in a way that actually works...*cough cough* Cybertruck....
I’ve nearly given up on Airbnb for anything but a longer-term stay. It’s changed so much in the past few years.
