I’m all for democracy but given the power of the job, there should be some sort of probation period, or minimum standards to be able to be elected to office.

For me The Island is a movie where the director was miscast.

How about the low res underwater sub scene. That looked like it belong in 320x240 video window on Sega CD.

I don’t think I could compare it to Top Gun. The Rock is at least a complete movie , with great action scenes. I didn’t see Top Gun until I was older and didn’t get the hype about it, it’s basically a more serious Police Academy , where the ending is a tacked on crappy mission.

I love the Rock, it’s Bay’s best film for sure, but the hummer chase editing is pure crap.

Why do Netflix original shows look cinematic but most of their movies have that digital cheap look.

Oh impeaching the president might divide the nation, but spreading misinformation about voter fraud, trying to cause an insurrection, well that’s just ok.

Can anyone explain the appeal of Harry Styles, he always looks like to me that he just rolled out of bed and smells of b.o.

ASM2 and Star Trek into darkness both suffer from Orci and Kurtzman’s terrible scripts, why anyone kept hiring them to write blockbusters I’ll never know. I’m just glad they didn’t get brought on to The Force Awakens.

I think Tom Holland strikes a good balance, he is dorky without being a sadsack wimp. People seem to have a perception that Peter Parker is a bumbling Clark Kent type. I think that’s what Raimi got wrong in his movies, and it got worse in each movie.

I thought he was ok, but not having seen him in anything else, I thought he was a pretty bad actor at least in this.

No I agree however as bland as AOTC is shot I find it more tolerable then the high contrast colour grading of Rise of Skywalker. Honestly outside of the death star ruins everything other location in Rise of Skywalker is about as bland as can be. Exegol has to be most boring location in any Star Wars movie.

This isn’t free speech, this happens all the time, business’s don’t want bad press so they distance or fire people all the time. S&S clearly decided that Hawley’s actions didn’t fit with the image they wanted.

I was one of the people who thought Attack of the Clones was a big improvement over The Phantom Menace. Time has not been kind to either one and I think Attack of the Clones is the 2nd worst Star Wars movie behind Rise of Skywalker. I find Clones less boring then Phantom Menance but on the technical side, AOTC is an

For me it was great to finally see Spiderman on the big screen, they did his suit justice, it wasn’t black body armor ,the movie didn’t take place all at night and for the most part it used characters from the comics. I might be in the minority but my biggest issue with Raimi’s Spiderman is casting. For me at least

I think 3 things worked better in the ASM2 , Spiderman’s persona, the romance and the use of New York as a location. There is a decent movie in buried in that mess somewhere, Sony hitched themselves to the whole Peter’s parent’s thread and setting up numerous spin off’s , which killed the movie.

Where are Devin Nunes, Doug Collins and Jim Jordan too? Remember those losers trying to make the Ukraine call out to be some leftist plot during the hearings? History will not be kind to these asshats, everything they argued against in those hearings has shown to be true by Trump’s behaviour since his impeachment. I

I would be bet regular people don’t think too much about packing courts. People want to be sure they don’t go bankrupt if they get sick and are wondering how they will pay bills during the pandemic. It’s clear that Republicans mean when they say they are hearing from people, they really mean rich people.

I’m not convinced that she is even a real person. Even her speech that she was no longer objecting the election sounded like a robot.

The fake bewilderment from Republicans wondering how could this happen is disgusting.
