If it were Archer style animation, it’d probably be cheaper.

I felt the same way. I didn’t even know this was a think until a couple of days ago, now there’s a script and even test animation.

I just watched this movie a few nights ago. I was shocked. It’s possibly my favorite Pixar and Disney movie.

I think I’m more burned out of the “generic CGI army versus the heroes” trope that we’ve already seen Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Justice League, Suicide Squad, Thor: Ragnarok, Thor: The Dark World... need I go on?

Really it kind of abandoned all the themes developed in the first Fatties Fart when they switched directors half way thru the movie and had all the studio interference with the sequel.

On the one hand I identify where he’s coming from, because we’ve all had to do jobs we didn’t like for the money. On the other hand, it annoys me when high profile actors complain about ‘paycheck’ roles like they suffered so much (which he honestly probably didn’t).

I worked for an advertising agency for a year, they rip people off all the time and constantly copy work. It’s just a race to not get caught. It’s crazy it is how common they see someone’s work and literally copy the style for a campaign of their own.

So what are we, some kind of Soul Stone?

No, it was perfect. I laughed out loud, too. The facial expressions did it for me.

I honestly thought the implication was she might have died or been dead at the point that N’Jobu was killed. His father was the only person in his life at that point. I could be wrong, though.

“In many ways, Blade Runner wasn’t about the replicants, it was about what does it mean to be human? It’s like E.T. But I’m not certain what the question was in the second Blade Runner. It’s not a character-driven movie and there’s no humor, there’s no love, there’s no soul. You can see the homage to the original. But

I wonder if he saw it and just thought it looked better that way. That wasn’t a defense, I’m just wondering.

The movie should have ended with the birth of Venom. That would have been a much better and less rushed arc. Also shouldn’t have had emo Peter, but that’s another conversation.

Now playing

Apparently it was a deliberate rumor that Sam Raimi wasn’t interested in the character to mislead fans, too. Take a look at this:

Usually when Spider-man fights someone he loses the first fight and learns from it and wins subsequent ones, but that would be pretty entertaining for sure.

Yes, they do. All the people are evacuated in their shelters so it’s assumed that the city buildings are emptied by the time the Kaiju reaches the city. They actually use a tank ship as a baseball bat against a Kaiju in the first one.

If I don’t get to watch a movie with a hundred digital Michael Keatons, then what is this all for?

Have you even seen the film? Sounds like you’re trying to find a reason to be offended.

This kind of film could work with the same kind of dark humor in Gremlins, but I’m worried Columbus has lost his edge in the same way all those great 80's directors became either more “family friendly” or just less capable (looking at you - George Lucas, Stephen Spielberg, John Carpenter, Tim Burton and Ridley Scott).
