Most sci-fi movies frame the conflict or the aliens as a device to symbolize a human struggle. It’s not a trope, it’s the very essence of what makes these films human. All the most classic sci fi films had a struggle that was representative of the human condition.

Well it’s more complicated than that. Loki let them in, but the Frost Giants were still trying to strike against Asgard, even if they didn’t know of Loki’s plan. Thor was reacting to what he perceived as an attack, which was what it was meant to trigger. Thor’s allies came with him, agreeing with his actions (even tho

MCU thor murders a bunch of innocent people and only gets stripped of his power when he yells at his dad.

They’re not dead, they’re just sleeping.

That and also we’ve been seeing screen shots of TFA and TLJ of the Falcon. It looked cleaner on the inside (still not as clean) in A New Hope and the other OT films, but it looks like there was some period of time (at least a few years) where Han didn’t have the Falcon because it was stolen from him (pre-TFA).

I think the point is that he is very flawed but he is coming from a good place and is never hurtful to his children but kind and means well. If he’d known that taking her to eat ice cream would cause an eating disorder for her in real life, he probably wouldn’t have done it. In fact, it’s possible she was so

I remember really enjoying the Mothman Chronicles and being so disappointed when I did the research behind the story and it was just a big literal hoax that even involved a guy masking his voice on the phone to sound like the Mothman to someone else to scare them.

She does have the ability, she just rarely uses it (her thing is more wings and blasters rather than growing big and punching).

I would only claim to be the supreme authority of my own opinions, but I’m glad you think so too.

It’s lesser Marvel, and Marvel is already pretty bottom-of-the-barrel cinema.

Wouldn’t it be neat if they made the trailer hide all the supernatural giant stuff and left that as a surprise for the audience who wasn’t aware of the story. They advertised it instead in a somewhat vague way where you don’t know if she’s crazy or not.

Plugging your own post? lol.

Gervais gave his blessing to The Office, too, and that was just... awful.

Yeah, like The Office... worst show ever /s

It’s funny, most of the animated DC movies seem to get pretty positive reviews and are well-received yet I still see some guy posting how it’s terrible as the top posting whenever they post articles on these. I actually really enjoyed Assault on Arkham and wished Suicide Squad was more like it.

I don’t recall that happening on Assault on Arkham. My only critique is they seemed to be playing fast and loose with a lot of the side-character villains biting the dust. Otherwise I actually enjoyed it.

I don’t want them to bomb, I love the Marvel films. I was actually being a little sarcastic, because yeah people have been saying that since the first Avengers film (like you said) and it hasn’t happened yet.

My theory is that just Captain Marvel will take place in the 90's as a way to introduce the Kree and Skrull war and Avengers 4 will be full on Secret Invasion.

Then who’s the big bad for Phase 4?

Oh... duh. I can’t believe I didn’t get that.
