So, mostly positive reviews it seems. Oh, a lot of people on here are not going to like that.
Holy obvious paid promotion, Batman...
Just curious. Is there a reason you avoided the two leads in the cast list for Frequency?
“not to mention the original script for 9 where it is revealed that both the strict jedi order and the hatred fueled sith are just two sides of the same coin”
How the hell do you think I feel? I’m the one who’s going to have to watch goddamned Justice League.
Yeah, Snyder’s oeuvre isn’t what I would call stellar, but Dawn of the Dead is not only his best movie, it’s legitimately good. It trades the commentary on consumerism and society that people love about the Romero original for a more coherent, more exciting and overall tighter narrative.
Hi dad.
I really really want this time to get a full SW show keeping this animation style.
You are 100% entitled to your opinion.
On the other hand almost *everything* with Luke and Leia from the sequel trilogy was a disaster.
Rogue One, Rebels, and to an extent Fallen Order (if you don’t count it as prequel-era) would beg to disagree.
J.J. Abrams is making a strong case that that isn’t necessarily true. :-P
and misunderstanding the narrative flow of SW movies
“We just need a 20 year time skip so Broom Boy can grow into a self-trained Force Ninja and save the day!”
Its not that people didnt get the answers they wanted. Never heard someone mad they didnt get “their” movie. Its that they were handled poorly and clearly were not planned out ahead of time. This is another straw man argument everyone makes about people critical of these films. I could care less of which answers I…
This is the real problem with the trilogy. TLJ started steering the story in one direction. RoS went out of it’s way to steer the trilogy back in another direction. If we would have either done the entire trilogy in the Star Wars fan service method of Abrams or followed through on the more subversive method of Johnson…
I agree. My take on the sequel trilogy is that JJ basically remade Star Wars, then Rian made a movie from a completely different sci-fi series and called it Star Wars, then JJ came back upset that he didn’t remake Empire, and shoved a remake of Empire and Jedi into one movie.
OMG your comment SO deserves to come out of the greys.
Now imagine having those feelings, but a more vocal group hates the movie for shitty mysoginistic and racist reasons. Those people suck hardcore, but if you dare speak a word of ill about the movie, you’re immediately lumped in with those shitbags.
