People don’t mind characters like Batman and Superman being deconstructed. They just like a coherent movie that isn’t super depressing. We already saw Watchmen, we didn’t need a Superman/Batman version of that. I mean, the pacing alone in BvS made it difficult to sit all the way thru.

To be fair to Reed’s character, he’s basically a lawyer. He isn’t involved in the capturing and detaining of mutants at all. HRG was basically a government MIB type figure. Plus Reed doesn’t have any real power compared to the Sentinels and other people in his office it seems. Once it was found out his kids were

He and his sister have ‘opposite’ powers. His sister can push together matter (so far to create shields or to move things slightly is all we’ve seen) and her brother can separate matter. It caused and earthquake but in a more direct use it destroyed the vending machine and annihilated those spider drones.

Well the Strucker family is white, but several of the other mutants are other ethnic groups from what I could tell. But the point is that they are basically ‘racist’ against mutants until they become mutants, which seems kind of appropriate in a way. But that’s my opinion and I could be wrong.

This show was great for these reasons (IMO):

Another easter egg was when Eclipse met Mr. Strucker at the bar there was a mural of a wolverine with glowing green light on the wall behind him.

I want to see a remake directed by David Lynch. Now that would be nightmare inducing.

There is a reason why ink doesn’t disappear, the body is not capable of processing it.

Why do you want to be permanently marked as a faddist?

MORE SPOILERS as I discuss the ending:

I drive a 2015 Sedona and it’s pretty great. A lot of room and it handles like a car. I’ve been driving it for almost a year with no problems other than a flat tire (which had more to do with the roads I drive on than the car). KIA is much better than they were 10 years ago.

It’s sad that mental illness isn’t as recognized as it should be.

Was this really a surprise?

Women face a particular kind of harassment simply because they’re women. It’s wrong and they’re often singled out for that very reason.

It’s a satire, not a parody. A parody would be one of the Mel Brooks films or even Austin Powers. The difference is really in tone. Parodies are blatantly not serious even at the serious moments. Satire can be serious in tone while still containing that tongue-in-cheek humor. Kingsmen is a satirical take on the spy

“Darn”

I get what you’re saying, but I think we also realize that individual responses to systemic injustice aren’t enough.

Unfortunately that’s not really the case in modern society anymore (at least in the United States). Other than an ‘under the table’ construction job, even basic restaurant and bar tending jobs require valid identification and social security numbers. But I’m being pedantic right now, which is not really necessary for

Judging by the preview for the next episode where it shows her slashing a tire with a hunting knife, either she’s in on it or she’s just another SJW (this show’s version) doing crazy things.

Glad someone commented on that. That has to be a trope, whenever a character drops out of their respective career no matter how prestigious they end up as a waiter/waitress or a bartender. That or they just grow a beard and work in a blue collar labor job.
