The ironic part is the protest narrative is 100% fabricated. They do this because it is fun, not because riding your way into a wheelchair somehow shows up the “man.”

Wow what a dangerous stupid activity to do. I’d hate to get caught in the path of a hooligan showing off for his friends. I hope the city can crack down on this.

I’m looking forward to a followup story five years from now that documents the exploits of daredevil urban wheelchair drivers. I do hope they have good medical insurance.

So riding these bikes through the city is illegal, but the police trying to stop the event are the bad guys?

I’m no fan of Baltimore cops, but these guys are breaking the law...and you’re applauding it? I can think of many other ways these fathers and older kids could make a similar statement and set a more positive example than this.
