Yeah, who the fuck knows.

Not sure how that follows, sir.

*pockets soundbite for future out of context recriminations and point missing*

I'd welcome a counter argument if you have one.

Give me a few examples if it's that wrong and I mean stating the how of the death in the headline. I'll wait.

It's significant but I don't know, it leaves a foul taste in my mouth about it, not taking away the significance from you.

And I was given a bunch of downvotes. It's no nailing to a cross but they do say my followers are assholes.

My issue is that it's not a general news site so it seems crass when it's not that much about who died but how. Is the death the important part or the dialogue it creates because of the circumstances? Just feels a bit local news "if it bleeds, it leads" style of reportage, at least they did sure but I don't have to

Yet.

Many of AVC's obits still extend some dignity to the dead, I just don't think she was offered any for the sake of making the violence the story, not who died.

Not my point and you know it.

True but it doesn't mean we really need to know how she died, where and when before we even click, very few others get extended a "did you hear?" type headline on AVC. Only thing missing is her age in the headline for added impact.

Usually if someone dies, they don't say the how.

Gravity also kills people. And whips if used correctly.

I thought those were cars, need to get my metal penises in check.

I still hate that headline, why not a "RIP Christina Grimmie, The Voice finalist" instead of a fairly tasteless shock headline?

Can I choose "everything"? Need to cover my bases with a spread bet.

I think that might point to a problem more with caring a little too much about prominent deaths we have little connection to than about animal death as we know is worthless.

I deny all responsibility.

Where would have been okay though? Don't think any death would have been appropriate, much less this and anywhere outside of a death would have seemed weird.
