Actually, all the bigger names I know barely make light of it. Paul F. Tompkins, who should be making far more noise about his role, is pretty quiet on it too and yeah, there’s a certain low view of voice work for some actors, something you do as a quick payday but not true work you’re proud of.

I think there’s a combo of good ol’ prejudice against television animation and a general sense of not wanting to because they’re not human. Not the best excuse ever but there’s always been a dim view taken of voice work.
