3AM. Inexperienced drivers, at an age known for “impressing friends/girls”. Really fast car.

None, like everyone else said. I think the better question is why are we in 2024 just getting to the point where hybrids are replacing many ICE-only vehicles

None of them. It seems like every EV that would do well as an ICE car already exists. In these instances, the ICE model just ends up being better because it’s not as purpose-built as a dedicated EV.

These are deaths/mile. Altima’s don’t die, they only terrorize.

I guess building a dedicated EV platform has efficiency advantages for an EV.....but if Honda pulled a Kia and offered this in Gas (Si trim only), hybrid, and EV it would be pretty fantastic.

I am going to argue none.

altimas are surprisingly safe for how low budget they are!

Since the metric is fatalities per miles driven, it’s not surprising the list is comprised mainly of popular commuter cars (big numerator) , or cars that have very few miles (little denominator).

I’d say NONE of the current EV’s need to be ICE but maybe this future one should: Hyundai N Vision

At least in America, are there any BEVs that don’t already have a highly comparable ICE variant or were inspired by an old ICE model you can still get in the used market?

None. We have to stop burning gas.

You mean they would buy the RAV4.

We really should have gotten a new Honda Hatchback in america with a modest engine and manual trans. I love the look of these little cars!

Lmao I wish americans were smart enough to do this, but him being elected proves they’re not

Shoot, Mazda gave us a RWD based inline 6 engine which they didn’t have to do, considering that the rest of the industry is downsizing cylinder count. I’m inclined to believe that this hybrid rotary sportscar will be a reality in the distant future. If it happens, I hope it weighs no more than 3500 lbs. For reference,

Coming from a guy who doesn’t much care for SUVs, The GV80 is a very good looking vehicle, better than any BMW and Mercedes SUV in the looks department imo. A concept, but wow I could be seen in this:

I can’t imagine how you could not determine that a vehicle didn’t fit you on an extended test drive. Unless you didn’t bother to do one. Which would make you an idiot.

If you’re that stupid, you deserve all the bad things. Let ‘em have it.

I truly like the idea of this except the fact that you presumably lose the manual, which is the main delight of a car like the Miata. But if the kit came in at about $7000, that’s a fairly justifiable way to replace a shot motor or as an alternative to dumping a few grand into a turbo or supercharger. Not for

Larry is an awesome dude.
