I am a Pirates of the Caribbean fan even though I recognize that they are mostly not good movies. They are guilty pleasures for me.

Pretending the issues in Depp’s personal life don’t exist, the character is tired anyway. They need a new leading person. If I were to nominate anyone, I’d nominate Peter Dinklage, LaKeith

I am sold!

I don’t visit Kotaku that often because I’m not much of a gamer so I know I’ll be in the greys.

Ubisoft would have my money if they pulled a Far Cry Primal with the most recent game, but it should be in a Jurassic Park-like environment.

But they’ve consistently pointed out that Nate is embarrassed that he accidentally said, “Wonder Kid,” instead of, “Wunderkind.” So when he signs the note that way, I think they’re trying to say that he’s not only apologetic but also beginning to grow a sense of humor about himself.

Add to that (in other words I’m agreeing with you), he still deleted the content, before he started trying to be a better person.

I haven’t seen today’s episode and skipped most of the recap.
I don’t think they’re trying to make Nate seem heroic, just simply saying he’s not pure evil and redemption is still a possibility.

Great list, though for my money 1, 2, & 3 would be 1. From Dusk ‘til Dawn, 2. Alita: Battle Angel, & 3. Sin City. That being said, all 3 are pretty great and the order doesn’t really matter.

Good to know.
I think the Apple sub is worth it once or twice a year for Ted Lasso, Mythic Quest, Severance, and Silo (so far). Shrinking isn’t bad either.

Cool. I appreciate your response. Other responses have said it’s good, but I’ll take what you say into account in order to lower my expectations.

I haven’t read the book as it doesn’t fit my reading preferences, but I do like watching sci-fi stuff. Most of the complaints that I’ve read, about this show, deal with it being a poor adaptation.
Considering I have no frame of reference, is this a good show, if you take the book out of the equation?

A little went a long way in creating the atmosphere that made that movie so successful, IMO.

I’ve been opposed to this ever since Burton started using CGI instead of Henry Sellick. If he were to get Sellick on board with this, I could get pretty excited for it.
That being said, I know, damn well, that I will be purchasing a ticket to this movie, no matter how good or bad the reports and trailers are.

Ugh! Getting endless Dunkin would be the worst. Thank goodness I live in a Starbucks / Dutch Bros. state.

Good to know. I’ve ended up enjoying series that had pilot episodes that I hate (Hulu’s MODOK was surprisingly not terrible starting with episode 2).

Eh. I like all of the seasons (even 4) but I always like when Troy and Abed are together the most.

Does it get better after the first episode? I wanted to like it but hated that episode and haven’t convinced myself to give it a second shot.

I really did like her in New Girl. She worked really well with the rest of the cast’s chemistry.

I don’t disagree, but I don’t exactly feel like a McDonald’s burger tastes like real meat either.

I definitely prefer the Grillers Prime to the Grillers Original. Prime tastes like a McDonald’s burger.

When I go to Taco Bell, the majority of the parking spots are reserved for delivery drivers.
