I feel like I like disconnect the art from the artist when the art isn’t so personal. In the case of musicians, usually the art is very personally connected to them. I can’t listen to Reggie and the Full Effect any longer because DeWees wrote the music, but I can still listen to MCR’s Danger Days, because he was

I kind of feel like Sedaris was wasted. Same with Billy Eichner in Noelle. I feel that if a studio is going to hire either of those two, they shouldn’t be placed in generic roles and then muffled.

He should audition for a CW show. As a white guy, I can’t tell the difference between all of the generically pretty white people on that channel.

I enjoyed the creature design and often that’s enough to get me to enjoy a movie. Keep low expectations and you might get a kick out of some of the movie.

His Hellboy movie wasn’t as bad as everyone said. It wasn’t as good as the other two, but it had moments that made the movie worth watching.

As a baseball fan it’s kind of like wanting your team to win the World Series in 7, because that means more baseball games, BUT if they win in 4, it would be a relief and just over with.

Off (and on) topic:

I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope her Solo character gets some sort of sequel series on Disney+ or part of a Star Wars Crime Syndicate series or something. I thought the character was very cool, and only became cooler at the end of the movie. AND it wouldn’t involve even a hint of nudity.

Same here. The political sketches don’t bother me, I just don’t know why those are the ones to go viral, while these absurd pieces remain hidden gems.

I’m a Bronco fan. Always have been.
To offset the fans who would inevitably stop rooting for their team, if said team signed Kaepernick, I would switch to whatever team signed him, as a fan. I might even buy a jersey and I personally hate jerseys.

I never find their political sketches very funny. It’s the absurd ones that will have me laughing until it hurts. This was a great one. Another one that I always go back to was the one where Jason Mamoa played the father meeting his daughter’s boyfriend for the first time.

This reminds me of when I tried to add the Arby’s version of I Need a Hero (I Need a Gyro) to my Spotify playlist. Sadly it wasn’t available.

tl;dr because it’s too late. Where’s she going and does it have anything to do with the herb?

YES! Me too!

I’m one of them. I find the seats uncomfortable and would rather stretch my legs. It’s not that I’m in a rush, which I always am because I’m a smoker, it’s that I just can’t sit still.

Weird. I thought I had the oldest Roku. It does move to the next episode automatically and I just looked at the “System,” menu and it’s a 3100X. I swear I’ve had that guy for 10 years.

Star Wars was just happy to be nominated. There was no winning when that cat was involved.

Star Wars and baseball are just about the only public (non-family) things I like anymore. I suddenly want to be best friends with Sean Dolittle!

While true, I think the Star Wars trailer deserves some consideration in the category.

Thanks. I’ll give it a shot. My kids are always talking about Discord. Now that I’m on it they’ll probably consider themselves too cool for it.

I’ve been coming here to Jez. I don’t always comment on Jez, but I always read the comments. I’ve also been going to io9. If G/O shuts down the comments on both of those sites, I don’t know where I’ll go. I’ll still read the writers. As a guy, I feel like Jez has a lot to teach me, even if the comments aren’t there. I
