Not true. You can only publish the .ibooks file through the iBook store. You can publish the content in whatever other format you want, however else you want.

All Apple is saying here is that you cannot sell your .ibooks file elsewhere. You are still allowed to sell the text, pictures, content anywhere you want, you just can't sell a compiled .ibooks file elsewhere.

The file that iBooks Author pumps out, yes. You could turn around and sell the collection of text and photos to another publisher. Apple is only claiming rights to the file that their free program creates.

With great power, comes great responsibility.

I have no idea. I know he had it imported from Germany, I think.

My uncle has one similar to this, except it's all built into his cabinetry. All you do is pop it open, pour in the beans, and then let it go. It disposes of the beans itself, gets the water itself, and cleans its filter itself. Great machine.

Is "lol" really that obnoxious? I use it to communicate levity. Like, I can say "you're a horrible person. lol" to say that I don't actually think of them as a horrible person. Is that obnoxious? I figure that it's just three letters. If that bugs who I'm talking to, then we have more problems than my lol'ing.

The app did little more than Google voice search. I keep hearing everyone say this, but Siri for iPhone 4S is nothing like the Siri app. And I assume that they shut it down because in comparison, the Siri app sucked, and they didn't want people downloading that app and then making judgements about how the iPhone 4S

What did apple lie about? They never told you that your iPhone 4 wasn't able to run it. They never said that. They just said that it wouldn't run it. Why? Because Apple's a business who poured millions of dollars into a feature to use as a selling point for their next phone.

I have a friend who owns a photography business who uses Square. She loves it.

Square's rates are pretty good. The only thing that square charges is 2.75%. No other fees. Even the card reader is free. It's a wonderful service.

As a person who works for a charity, people don't give if they're not provoked. We actually make cold calls asking for money, and we raised several hundred times as much money like that. So even if we distance some people, in the end, it works out better for us.

My friend and I split the cost of a stack of pizzas for a club meeting. I used the square to take his half from him, since he didn't have cash. It's so easy! I wish that people owed me money more often so I could keep trying it!

It detracts from the simplicity. Most people don't toggle bluetooth or wifi on and off enough to warrant a dedicated function outside of the settings menu. The button would go unused for most users.

You can scan each computer separately, and then they all add together into one iCloud.

It's all DRM free. But if you stop paying, then you stop getting the ability to download the music from iCloud. (It's a download service, not a music-upgrade service. That music-upgrade you may get it just a side benefit)

That you're the perfect candidate for iTunes match! Congratulations!

Oh, sorry. Actually, I was reading a similar comment about fragmentation of siri somewhere else and I commented on this one by mistake =P

How is Siri fragmentation? It doesn't change the functions of 3rd party apps, so why does it cause fragmentation?

What? No it doesn't. It's a different sensor. Watch the video. Look at the video from 0:41 on. She shows the iPhone 4 sensor, the iPhone 4 CDMA sensor, and then the 4S sensor. All completely different pieces of hardware.
