Man, after all the backlash from the previous article from the FFXIV community and here you are again with another article about ERP in the game that seems to misrepresent the roleplay section of the game, which is actually far more expansive and broad than your honestly creepy obsession with seeking out ERPers.

She honestly has - its part of what led me to start supporting her on Patreon, really. Her latest series of videos have been pretty damn excellent.

It’s honestly my fault for not realizing such a blatantly biased article would just be filled with cherrypicked interview quotes. I should have known that really would have been the case, but I was honestly so irritated and thrown off that Cecilia’s coverage of FFXIV consistently seems to be judgmental hit pieces

I literally love how Kotaku never actually seems to cover important information about FFXIV - like interviews with Naoki Yoshida where he discusses upcoming changes or additions to the game, such as their plan to fix housing, the changes being made to the Glamour system, the release of a mobile app that will allow

Honestly, finding the Mushroom Kingdom warp in the Luncheon Kingdom made me all the more excited to finish the game and find how you get there. It drove me to go out of my way to collect more moons to see how they added that area into the game.

You meet a Geomancer in the Astrologian story, I know that for certain. I don’t believe you meet one in the Scholar story.

Remember - its the first part of a three part Raid series. Ultima will almost certainly be involved in the final part.

It happens with the FFXIV community as well. Any time there’s a change or patch, the community starts screaming about what they AREN’T doing or how they’re not doing it right. And a ton of armchair devs come out of the woodwork to explain “how easy” it would be to do this or that or add this asset or rework that job

I don’t mind style evolving as the art form evolves but man I am 9000% over the whole “Moe” anime style. I really want animators to move away from it. I really loved the styles from the 80s and 00s. I liked the 90s style as well, but that was more the era where I watched them most anime so its the one that I had the

Fun little fact, in Japan these are known as “Pitagora Souchi” (ピタゴラ装置 - Pythagorean Devices) and there actually WAS a television program mostly aimed at children that had different Rube Goldberg/Pythagorean devices being set off at the start and end of each segment of the episode. It was called “PythagoraSwitch

It’s a clear-file or pencil board. It’s basically just a rigid piece of plastic that’s bent at a specific angle to make the marble run through it as though its passing through a semi-liquid substance.

Also, all the chicken from KFC is pressure fried - meaning that it shouldn’t ever come out undercooked. Chick-fil-A incorporates the same technology as well. You likely did get food poisoning from something else. If it *was* from KFC, it wasn’t from their chicken being undercooked. Those pressure fryers lock down once

Like, I don’t understand what happened to the people who designed the NES Edition of the Game Boy Advance.

Yeah I mean...god forbid LGBT folks attempt to celebrate who they are in the face of people constantly telling them they’re broken, sick, or wrong. Unless you live it, you can’t know it. It will always just be an “annoyance” to you - but man, positivity is something the LGBT community needs - suicide rates amongst

Shockingly, there are children that happen to identify as any number of things on the LGBTQ spectrum and them possibly seeing people on the Splatoon community celebrating those identities? I dunno, it might make them not hate themselves for being different. I know it certainly would have been really nice to see when I

Final Fantasy VII’s Japanese boxart is also minimalism perfection:

The wireless/Bluetooth versions of the keyboard are compatible with Mac. The wired versions are not.

Yup, I just looked them up and that seemed to be the going rate. Meanwhile I picked up the wooden Shogi tiles and the cheapest Shogi board Nintendo sells on Amazon and got both for about $50 total.

The Club Nintendo ones (which were limited) are available on eBay for like $25 with free shipping. The Nintendo Store ones shown in this article can be obtained from Amazon for about $20 and minimal shipping costs.

I feel horrible for the backers, of course, but on top of that?
