You’re making a lot of assumptions, however. I think it’s not fair to assume it can’t be better——after all, it sounds like he’s been working on that very deliberately, and it’s been working (i.e., he got help, and it’s been helpful). Self-defense mechanisms can do more damage, too (narcissism, for example), especially

Have you considered therapy, counseling, life coaching, etc.? I didn’t like the medicines my psychologist put me on 15 years ago, but found coaching in particular has been amazing.

I’d love to hear more stories of people like this who instead try to get deliberate help for their mental health. I can only imagine how much it could have helped them, and how much it could sincerely help them now and beyond. Therapy, counseling, coaching, any of it, it’s still got this awful stigma in America like

2 years? It’s literally been one year.

That’s right around the time me and everyone else will be talking about how much we’re enjoying playing Destiny 2.

30 films by a guy named Jason with a hockey mask in his avatar, none of them involve any given Friday on the 13th of any given month?

Totally. I loved it.

You haven’t seen lag? Have you looked? I don’t mean to sound cynical, but it’s absolutely a problem, and an outlier many times.

For what it’s worth, I’m really glad it’s here. I love this series and it’s a healthy place for it in a world where the audience might not be targeting (or responsive to) other places that more frequently talk about stuff like “Ask Dr. Nerdlove.” It’s like getting one of those delicious chocolate-mints with your bill

Still good, though.

My wife lets me play video games, but not Sex. After 2 years, I moved out Friday. Fun article though.

Not sure about TigerDirect but these headphones are ridiculously awesome if you have a PS4 or otherwise don’t have bluetooth headsets (or if you’re the guy who doesn’t think your TV is “too loud” while everyone hears everything you say twice).

That doesn’t sound typical of Playstation and their behavior at all though? SMH on that one.

But I paid for PS+ for “free” internet on PS3 because it backed up my games and I got a ton of free games. I lost game saves before I couldn’t backup (Rock Band, GRAN TURISMO 5 the worst) and the games I ended up finding as a “side effect” like Just Cause 2 I never would have bought, now I’m excited to buy Just Cause

It’s going to happen every year. Destiny is a 10-year plan, allegedly. They changed so much with the release of The Taken King for year two, only a lot of the changes weren’t exclusive to The Taken King. I imagine it will be similar next September, and including with (if?) Destiny 2.

But if you’re starting Destiny from scratch, you can buy the game, plus the two DLC expansions, plus The Taken King, all for the price of the original vanilla Destiny most of us paid for.
I get wanting something for nothing, but that’s more than just a bargain if you ask me.

Except if you buy The Taken King you start at level 25, so there’s that.

I already bought a $400 Playstation-branded wheel for Gran Turismo 5/6. I almost would be willing to buy another one if I wasn’t just as concerned I wouldn’t be able to use it later. SMH.

Uh, that’s INDY Car, not F1. I hate to be that guy, but I don’t think I have a choice.
