@FelineFraulein: shhhh... there never was an Avengers movie made, remember!

@theremightbeamonster: LOL! I grabbed that book for my vacation beach-read. Awful-awfulness. I put it down 1/4 the way through and never regretted it.
@ceti: LOLOL. At least you didn't delve out spoilers like my friend did. You show much restraint in your hate. :)
@Shai: Crap, I just picked up the first book. It has great reviews, though. :(
@Spaceknight: If only that graphic novel had existed 13 years ago, I would be a much happier soul.
@Scimarad: From a Buick 8 is on my shelf. I haven't read it yet because I hear nothing but bad things about it.
@Belabras: I just read it. It felt really canned and way too long. But it wasn't near the pain I felt reading Wolves. There's something about a flashback that takes up 90% of a book... Okay, maybe it was the fact that the previous two books were completely awesome.
@awolgamer: So funny, the first King books I read were Gerald's Game, The Skeleton Crew & The Dark Half. I think The Skeleton Crew was the only reason I continued to read him.
@fateke: I read it twice. The second time seemed less painful. And I only read it twice because there was such an expanse of time between W&G and Wolves of the Calla that I had mostly forgotten what the story was about.
@Perhaps Not: The concept of Christine was interesting, but it would have made a better short story.
@hdgotham (Hannah Wilson): So, if you don't want to read Wizard & Glass Flashback, pick up the graphic novel and read that instead, then find the part (in W&G) where he gets back to our lovely troupe and finish. The story is worth knowing, but it is so painfully slow. Wolves also does a horrible lull, but the series…
Wizard & Glass by Stephen King. I love The Dark Tower with all my heart, but my god I wanted to stab things while reading this story.
Yay! More exposure to radiation!!
@yayforjam: Same here. I watched it for the first time a couple years ago and thought it was awesome.
@dregzilla: That's odd—especially considering I rented it and watched it via Netflix about 2 years ago. I guess all those disc was accidentally damaged.
I want to read this whole article, but I don't want spoilers. ;_;
@01SNKOWNR: Crap feeding crap to crap eaters.
This whole idea makes me sick. I'd like a comprehensive list of books published in this manner so I may avoid both the books and the movies.
@TheGreat&PowerfulTurtle: I'm glad I wasn't the only one that got this impression from this article. I fear my employers will learn of this study and start tracking our eye movements.
@LittleDragon: Yes. I agree wholeheartedly. Put someone in a miserable situation and I guarantee the person would much rather daydream about where they'd rather be than focus on their current depressing situation.
