I was married 15 years ago and it was so complicated getting the checks cashed—especially the ones that were written out to Mr. & Mrs. LastName. Just assuming I’d change my name. The bank was pretty understanding about most of the checks (we went in person to deposit) but wouldn’t budge on me not having the correct…
I don’t see any decent apps in the iOS store. Does anybody have any recommendations?
For sure! If anything, it can net you a few extra souls from those pen-stealing heathens.
I always let people borrow things in exchange for their soul.
“Hey, can I borrow your pen?”
“Sure,” holds out pen “in exchange for your soul.”
Borrower hovers anxiously, uncertain...
“Oh, don’t worry. You’ll get your soul back when you return the pen!”
Sometimes people complete the transaction as fast as possible.…
First: Your stove is so tiny and precious!
Second: I have the ugliest green countertops that make my small kitchen look even smaller. I keep thinking about remodeling my kitchen, but that will come after adding a second bathroom, replacing a retaining wall, and remodeling the first bathroom. These sticker-sheets are…

At work, I used them as a snack bowl. You need more than one for heavier snacks. They also double as a napkin when you’re finished.
Oh! I got this for my cat. It’s great for thinning out his thick long hair and removing furballs.

By the title, I legit thought this was about scaring the people who received the email or maybe writing a scary story and sending it to an unsuspecting recipient.
I don’t think I’m brave enough to do what the article actually suggests. My idea of a scary email is asking my boss for PTO for a vacation I’ve already paid…
Thank you for the reminder. I just canceled my membership that was set to renew on May 3. I’ve just been disappointed in Prime recently (it’s rare to receive a package within two days—more often it takes a week given my rural location) and they keep increasing their prices. I also don’t use their streaming services.

I remember my friend wanting to play this game in the mid-80's. I didn’t think it was a good idea, but that didn’t stop her. I think she ended up doing the hyperventilating method when we didn’t agree to help.
That’s what I was thinking: walking into the elevator right or leaving the elevator right. I think it would be “walking in right” as that frees up the area around the buttons for late-coming button-pushers. Of course, if you buttons are on the other side, then just stand the opposite side of the buttons.
That is a good idea, though. I never thought of switching implements halfway through.
Making the fingerless gloves is simple enough. It’s attaching the eyeball designs that would be labor intensive (for me, at least). Another commenter below suggested felt eyeballs, which might be the easiest application! I still suck at attaching anything to a crochet/knitted object. I would spend three hours…
I could make the knitted gloves on dpns within a few hours. I would definitely need to find someone to embroider the eye on though. :(
Crochet would definitely be faster, but I have yet to find a crochet pattern that has as much give (crochet patterns seem very stiff and not as flexible) as a knitted pattern.
And yes, I think the embroidery would take me the longest. I’ve attempted it before on a pair of fingerless gloves and after several hours just…
I knit so many pink hats upon request from friends and was shipping boxes of hats all across the US. The pattern was simple enough that I could crank out a hat in a couple hours. Unfortunately, these gloves will take significantly longer to complete as designed. I really don’t see it catching on as quickly—unless…
Ack! I didn’t even think about diseases. I was mostly worried about fentanyl exposure (given the area), but it looks like it can’t travel through latex. I do worry about the added waste, but maybe I can find some biodegradable latex gloves.
I started using leather gardening gloves after my first trip. I’ve seen some gross stuff, but no pregnancy tests! I do worry about the things I might touch.
