Like, what is he trying to say? My daughters are so dumb? If they don’t know enough about cars, why didn’t you teach them?

LED’s, at least the ones with enough light output and resistance to the harsh condition the headlights go through are still pretty expensive. Also most of the newer incorporate other technologies such as adaptive lighting. Others have sensors (IR for example) built into them. So all these little things add to the

“How can we make something everyone intuitively understands completely incomprehensible in our next vehicle, so that maybe some people will die?”

That’ll teach em for being in the road.

Just put the shifter back on the steering column if the primary concern is saving space. That opens up the entire column. For whatever reason, though, people have decided that column shifters are for old people cars and are uncool. As if coolness matters in a SUV’s that are primarily used for ferrying kids around.

why do i like this
i don’t want to like this but i’m weirdly into it

This just looks like the bad guy of the week’s car on an episode of Miami Vice.

He was parked.

As bad as the G60 idea was, VW’s biggest problem at the time was a total lack of quality assurance for lots of its parts, mainly plastic and electronics, and really iffy assembly. The engineering was mostly good, but Japanese cleaned up on quality.

Me too. But they sell them like hotcakes, so someone’s buying them.

On a sidenote:

The Civic is paid for! The insurance and registration is minimal, your trade in is like $400 on that model just due to age. Just keep it AND the CR-V. You know why, because one day your daughter will be driving and she will need a cool ass classic to roll up to school in. Fuck those parents, they are doing it

Honda has small SUVs sitting on the lots and not moving so they’re targeting current Honda owners to trade in their small Honda cars for roomier Honda SUVs. Who cares that it’s beige? This isn’t a family that builds memories with its cars anyways.

I had similar feelings when my dad refused to fix his ‘74 Gran Torino hardtop coupe in 1994. He let the garage take it, and bought a shitty white ‘86 Coupe deVille with a shitty HT4100 V8, a worn padded vinyl roof, and dog dick brick red leather interior. I cried when I saw it.

i did not need this sadness in my life today
that poor little civic

At first I was all “What? This is beautiful. Look at that wonderful little Civic. Such a great little car. What a great family.”

Then IT CAME.

Man, these EFs aged gracefully, I want one.

That’s what these are for. Just make sure to drill vent holes....

Fuck This Honda Ad
Now playing

Look, I totally get the message Honda is trying to convey in this commercial. But it’s just not landing. Not at all.
