It shouldn’t surprise me how many “men” are all up in arms about society’s increasing likelihood of calling them out when they behave like douchebags, but there it is. Still, they’re so obnoxiously sensitive about it, it just makes me want to keep jabbing at that weakness. It’s not that they don’t want to be pieces of

It’s funny, I used to gravitate toward the higher trim-levels in cars. Now I find myself more attracted to the cheap end.

Sounds like the Sport trim with the NA engine and an automatic is the one I’d want. I prefer normally aspirated engines and cloth seats, and I don’t need a “premium” interior. And more and more, I’m starting to see the appeal of an automatic in a commuter car like this. LA traffic has broken me of the need to shift

No, I agree. It looks stupid.

Yeah, this won’t be happening in 25 years with the “MkV.”

That’s the biggest Hitler-’stache I’ve seen yet.

Lol, that’s the other side of it. I prefer catching apexes in a car with a double-wishbone front end, not the inferior struts Germans use.

A better engineered product wouldn’t break all the time.

I kinda half-get why the German-car apologists cling to their outdated ideas of German “engineering” actually being a good thing. After all, so much of the German-car marketing machine relies on that impression to sell thoroughly mediocre cars at a markup.

Lol, I’ve driven BMW’s best, and they’re poor-quality German junk. Even the E39 M5 was a pile.

I’m definitely saying Toyota is better than BMW. Toyota makes a better engineered, higher-quality product. BMW makes disposable status symbols.

Wow. I would’ve expected them to find an out for that.

A rearview mirror that is not glued to the windscreen. It needs to be screwed into the windscreen frame.

Think of what this dumbass kid’s parents had to do just to get her behind the wheel of a car. It’s not cheap to put a teenager on the road, and this asshole repays all that by pulling a stupid stunt like this. I doubt insurance is going to cover it, so that family just got a nice fat financial burden for the new year.

Sure, be my guest.

I think it depends on the car. Like, I think the all-red approach looks much better on Karmann Ghia taillamps, but on my Miata, I like the amber indicator.

I’d be all for more new sports cars, but this isn’t that. This is an already extant sports car wearing a different dress.

Yeah, this is great stuff. I’ve seen it before, but I never get tired of watching it again.

I can’t wait to see one in a crusher.

Eh, it’s loud, but it’s not that loud. I have guitar amps that will comfortably exceed 120 db.
