Star for the viscous mom-burn in the lede.

Star because I lol’ed.

Who the fuck does PCP anymore? I thought bath salts were the current thing.

Now that’s an interesting answer to the old “what would you do” question.

I’ll admit that I never got the appeal of climbing Everest. It’s not like there’s anything up there.

What a thought-provoking rebuttal.

They definitely dropped out for a while, but I was always more disappointed with Honda in that era. Now, too, really. At least Toyota has the GT-86. Honda hasn’t had a good, accessible sporty car since the last S2000 rolled off the line. The Civic Sis have been heavy and sluggish since 2001. I always considered Honda

Fair enough.

My question is “Why bother to use a vehicle for something you can do faster on foot?”

From a design perspective they’re ugly as shit. I’d take boring over ugly anyday.

I’ve done autocross a couple of times, but never got seriously into it. Only been on a real track once, and I’d like to do more, but I’d probably need to build a dedicated car for it, since I’m not going to put a roll bar in my daily driver and it seems most tracks won’t let a softtop on without one.

Yeah, but those old muscle cars are more floaty and disconnected than any new car you can buy today. I agree that they have a different feel to them, but being connected to the road isn’t part of it.
