Well, I find old 1.6 NA Miatas to be more fun than new ones. So if the primary purpose of that car is to be fun, then that works.

I’m just imagining rolling down I-40 in that thing after dropping a coil in it. It’s not a pleasant thought. Be like driving my bathroom.

Pfft. Buying the cheapest Bimmer, and buying it used no less, screams “I make $30k a year and live in an apartment.”

Yeah, but I’d rather have the Toyobaru. The 2-series is a heavy, awkwardly proportioned lump, and I like to keep my cars more than a couple of years.

I’m not really surprised. A good slushbox is more pleasant to drive than a DCT in the kind of conditions that make you want an automatic in the first place.

That’s rad.

These made me cackle evilly.

No way I’d pay that much for a 16-year-old German car, made in the worst era of German-car unreliability and made by Germany’s second-least reliable marque.

Fuck. That.

You should be able to park a car outdoors and not have other people touch it. Just because some people will touch it doesn’t mean it’s excusable for them to do so. Those people are rude assholes.

No, it’s never cool to peek under someone else’s car cover. Not only is it touching someone else’s property, there’s also the chance of scratching the finish.

I’ve never sold a car.

My car was built in Hiroshima, Japan, and I suspect most if not all of the parts it originally came with were of Japanese origin.

Dragons is so stupid.

Why does a replacement hatch cost $15 grand? Is there more to the kit than the hatch?

I’ve never paid for a Corona.

I thought there’d be more penises.

What would have been hilarious is if some kind soul behind the counter had been prepared for this with a jug of washer fluid relabeled convincingly as blinker fluid. And if the dad had sent them in with a credit card to pay for this purchase, it’d be even funnier if said jug had a fake price tag on it for some mildly

Le sigh.

Now I’m wondering how difficult it would be to drop a 3S-GTE in an old Toyota Truck.
