It’s pretty much real life though. The military is often the only place for people with limited educational and vocational opportunities to excel. You might think it is depressing to want to go back to a combat zone, but it is often less depressing than realizing your other option is to stay stateside and work at

Liberty University had a ban on interracial relationships not that long ago. Alot of the Christian schools in general were created to circumvent desegregation in public schools. I thought most people knew that

First name needed only. Cindy, Naomi, Christy, Linda, Claudia, and Tatjana. Honourable mentions to several others, but I stand by the ones in the 90's.

Off topic, but first.... I think we’re throwing the word Supermodel around pretty fast and loose. She was model in the 90's. She was nowhere near supermodel status.

I’m still wrapping my head around the reality of suffering an injury in combat that required such extensive rehabilitation and recovery *because you want or need to be deployed again*.  Christ that’s depressing.

It’s so weird and unsettling how some of these kids in online spaces have become so “progressive” as to basically be conservatives. They’re policing people’s private lives under the banner of “social justice,” but they’re being fucking bullies. Nobody is perfect, and the quest for perfection that these people are on

It occurs that an issue with the philosophy / movement that LGBTQ+ characters and stories should only be performed and told by LGBTQ+ individuals, while perhaps well-meaning, is that it assumes that the sexual identities and preferences of the individuals involved should be and even must be made public knowledge, even

It’s so funny how many people have been wringing their hands about how Elon’s gonna “ruin twitter,” like it wasn't always this unconscionable hellsite.

Kinda sucks that what (I think, anyway) began as legitimate discourse around casting queer people in queer roles (idk about the whole LGBTQ spectrum but I know for trans women specifically, it used to be hard to find a trans woman actually playing a trans woman role, let alone a trans woman playing a cis role),

NPH, Luke Evans, and Lee Pace right?

I don't answer questions

I have no intention of watching after season 3. Henry Cavill carries that show and without him I have no reason to watch. It was such awesome casting and Liam Hemsworth just ain’t it.

If season 4 takes place later than the previous seasons, it’s truely baffling that they’re casting someone younger than Cavill to take his place. I’d be okay with an older actor, but this makes no sense.

Dick York being replaced (after 5 years) by Dick Sargent in Bewitched is probably the most famous.

I really don’t know why everyone is saying he quit todo Superman or wasn’t happy.

That was because of a time jump, going from teen to adult

Spartacus, after season 1 Andy Whitfield died. His replacement was Liam Mcyntire (another Liam!) and while his first season back was a bit rocky, it was mainly rocky due to the writing. He was phenomenal in the third season.

So...when's the last time the lead character in a popular show was recast halfway through?

Damn, it’s a real shame that this show had to end after just 3 seasons.

They should have ended the show at season 3 then...
