I was born and raised in Detroit, but have been living in the Carlsbad/Oceanside area for over a decade, so I’m very familiar with the cars in both of those parts of the country.

I’ve lived many places, but when it came time to choose someplace to live as a hardcore car enthusiast, I chose LA. I mean, really no place compares. Sure, Detroit has a cool cruising scene along Gratiot and Woodward, and Florida is an automotive free-for-all, but no place in the US is like Los Angeles.

What’s wrong with you people?! Don’t old Ford Ranger lives matter!?

Can someone please show me a pic of a RWD, V-8 powered Acura Legend or RL? By my reckoning, there has never been such an animal. All Legends and RL’s have been FWD and V-6 powered. The 2nd gen Legend looked RWD and had a longitudinal V-6, but no V-8.

I think the most surprising thing about the move is the fact that the wagon platform is able to accept the floor shifter for the five-speed manual transmission. That was some pretty impressive foresight on Ford’s part since the take rate for stick shift wagons must have been appreciably low even back then.

Unpopular opinion: Timothy Dalton was a great James Bond, and “Licence to Kill” is a great film. Its deserves bonus points for breaking the traditional 007 plot patterns and depicting a very pissed-off, angry, vengeful Bond on the brink of going completely off the edge.

OHMSS absolutely deserves to be at the top of every Bond list. It’s a great movie that was unfairly maligned, and for years was left out of Bond movie marathons. Luckily that’s been changing recently. It’s one of my favourites.

Come visit Colorado, out biggest snow storm of the metro areas is probably still yet to come. I’ve kept my winter tires on into May the last few years.

Finance: Chevrolet Impala.
Mary Barra: What’s that?
Finance: You know, big bland sedan, we sell a few of them.
Mary Barra: Oh, yeah.
Finance: Yeah, we can’t actually find a record of a business plan to continue production.
Operations: I looked into it more deeply and I found that apparently what happened is that the

Orange you glad?

Likely story. Jason - and all of Jalopnik - has been in the pocket of Big Otter Jizz for years now.

But is his bumper valve bad?  Those can get expensive. And did he change his tires to winter air?

To be fair, blinker fluid is necessary to pass inspection.

For 750 bones I hope they changed your muffler bearings too.

Immigrant cars doing the work that American cars refuse to do.

I’m always amazed by the binary thought process that seems prevalent today - If you’re “this”, you cannot be “that”.

Not to mention the fact that you now have to have snow tires or a traction aid in conditions like this. Rental agencies aren’t providing that to rentals at DIA, even though it is state law.

You picked the wrong weekend to do this.

What kind of “experts” don’t suggest a Honda Accord Sport 2.0T which is a similar motor to the Type R.   Comes in a Manual Transmission and is a great family sedan and what I’d expect would be Honda reliability.

Simultaneously repeal the “chicken tax” and shorten or eliminate the 25 year import rule. You know, some sort of international set of standards.
