It isn’t reported like that. Sales numbers for Silverado, Sierra, and Ram pickups include both light duty and heavy duty, same as Ford.

There is widely available video taken from another car showing the semi pass the runaway ramp.  The driver of the car the video was taken from estimated his speed as at least 80 mph.  This ramp is approximately 4 miles west of where the crash happened.

He never should’ve upshifted to begin with.  There are numerous warning signs of the coming grades, advising truckers to stay geared down.
