My thoughts:

I was on a TTWS bender for a few days before seeing this episode and got really excited at that joke. If it's of any interest to you, they have a Kickstarter supporting their new album.

Boombox gets me every time, especially the line about TURBO BASS.

Very true - Page desecrated his own art. I say we tie him down and make him watch the movie with Emmerich's commentary as punishment.

I think that movie's greatest crime went unspoken: Puff Daddy's "Come With Me" on the soundtrack forever tainted the beauty of the song "Kashmir." Roland Emmerich makes silly, sensationalist movies but that all pales to him taking a massive dump on Physical Graffiti's legacy.

My crush was a coin-toss between Jennifer Grey and Mia Sara in Ferris Bueller - I could never choose between the two.

More reasons why I love the Armani Prada Gucci guys. Wish I had the dough to get that awesome NES cartridge they've got on the Kickstarter, but I'm happy to get a 12" of Endless Fantasy.

I just caught up with the Cutting Cards. It had such a gritty, pulpy feel. Like I was reading some pre-crazy Frank Miller one-shot.

Any votes on favorite episodes? Mine include Strung Along, Lower Berth, and Split Personality.

Red Fang is great. Can't wait to hear the new album.

I saw them open for Sleigh Bells last year and it was one of the loudest things I've ever witnessed. It reminded me of that band Disaster Area from the Hitchhiker's Guide. I imagined them remotely controlling their instruments from another planet.

LBT was my first movie in the theater, too. My hometown had a really cool theater. They turned it into a fucking Rite-Aid. So it goes.

April O'Neill should play April O'Neil. She's also made it utterly NSFW to Google that character's name any longer.

The most incredible adult-centered puppet entertainment that I've seen was a black box theater production called The Phantom Limb. It mixed live actors, marionettes, puppets, and silhouette animation to tell the story of Albert Fish, who was a real cannibal around the turn of the century. I was reduced to tears by the

"Tooter fish popkins" and "bumhug" have become lasting jokes in my household.

It's strange - I already get nostalgic listening to stuff like Relationship of Command by At the Drive-In. Like, "Man, where did all the promise of post-hardcore go?"

Ain't nothing "relatively rocking" about the Photo Album for me. That's my personal favorite Death Cab record. Doesn't shred or blow any walls down, but I loves it.

My friends all laugh when I tell them that Rey Mysterio is among my favorite wrestlers. He's a staple of modern wrestling and is an unbelievable athlete. I'm glad someone else sees his value! I've heard rumors that he's going to have to stop wrestling for health reasons, which makes me sad. I don't see wrestling being

Agreed. I didn't expect much from the National show I saw and they blew me away. B&S are pretty exciting live as well.

I saw Anamanaguchi two years ago at the Black Cat in DC in the tiny back bar. They played "Don't Save Us From the Flames" by M83. It was really interesting to hear a really robust electronic song in chiptune style with more punky instrumentation. Also I think it's the only song I've heard that they sing on. It was a
